Designed by teachers and guided by research, Flash Feedback provides a rapid peer review session for both text- and image-based assignments. Each peer review session is structured around a single criteria and scaffolds the review process to support high-quality feedback between students.

Elizabeth Matlick | ELA Specialist
Business Management, Sales Elizabeth is Flash Feedback's starting founder and ELA specialist. In her other role as a writing teacher at an independent school in Seattle, Elizabeth discovered a passion for addressing the challenge of how to navigate and respond to student drafts the same day they are written. While using Flash Feedback in her own classroom, Elizabeth has seen her students grow as writers, thinkers, and reviewers. She holds a BA in English and writing from Kenyon College and an MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago. |

Christine Witcher | STEM Specialist
Product Management, Marketing, Beta Program In her other role as a Seattle-based science teacher, Christine has seen her students' resistance to revision and struggle to help each other. She developed Flash Feedback's scaffolded review questions to help students stay focused on teacher criteria as they worked. While using Flash Feedback in her own classroom, Christine has seen an improvement in students' ability to revise and meet standards. She holds a BS in geophysics from Western Washington University and a Master in Teaching from Seattle University. Along with science, she also teaches innovation classes and runs "The Shop" - a high-tech makerspace. |
